Mir gefällt meine verspielte Abwandlung eigentlich ganz gut. Ich meine: das Bild. Reach out and touch FATE passt bei mir gerade autobiographisch besser als FAITH.
Aber der original Text ist (vor allem insgesamt) natürlich auch sehr super. Im Sinne von Bardem „Ich glaube nicht an Gott, ich glaube an Al Pacino“. Ich höre die Nummer ausnahmlos und mit größter Begeisterung von Cash, obgleich die Originalaufnahme nicht zu Unrecht Ruhm erlangt hat.
Als ich den Satz gelesen hatte, mußte ich stundenlang überlegen, woher ich es kenne. Und als es mir endlich eingefallen war, mußte ich einfach den ganzen Text hier einstellen, um es nie wieder zu vergessen. Ich find auch beide Sätze gut und bevor ich den Text gelesen hatte, dachte ich nämlich, daß die genau das singen: reach out and touch fate.
